Water Connection Services
I have purchased a home in Warman. How do I get my water turned on?
In order to have your water turned on, the following items are required by the City of Warman:
- A completed Application for Water and Sewer Utility Services (found here);
- A water deposit; and
- One (1) form of photo identification (front and back).
- I.E. Driver's License.
For brand new homes that require a meter install, you will also need:
- A Service connection on file; and
- Conditions of occupancy will apply.
Note: Water service will not be in place if the above requirements are not met. Water service can only be turned on if someone is present at the house.

| 3/4" Meter | $290 |
| 1" Meter | $640 |
| 1 1/2" Meter | $890 |

How to Make a Water Deposit:
Water deposits may be made in the following ways:
- Paying in person at City Hall (107 Central St. W. Warman, SK S0K 4S0) by using cash, cheque or debit;
- Dropping a cheque off at the after hours drop slot at City Hall (107 Central St. W. Warman, SK S0K 4S0); or
- Paying through EFT online banking. When paying with online banking, the first five digits of your water account number will be required by your bank (all nine digits are required by TD Bank only). Please call City Hall at (306) 933-2133 and we will issue the account number to you.
What happens to the water deposit when I move?
When a resident moves to a new location within the city, the water deposit may be transferred, provided that there are no arrears on their utility account. When a resident disconnects services and does not require a hookup at another location in the city, the water deposit is applied against the final bill. If there is a credit, a refund cheque is issued.
Can I be refunded the water deposit while I am still living in my home?
You can be given a water deposit refund while you are still living in your home if:
- You own the property and you are not leasing or renting; and
- You have two (2) consecutive years of good standing with the City of Warman, in relation to utility bill payments. Good standing is in the sole opinion of the Director of Finance and/or the Utility Clerk.
- (Examples of not being in good standing include but are not limited to: arrears of a utility account, water shutoffs due to unpaid utility bills, having been sent to collections, and/or having received a shut off notice.)
Any person who satisfies the above criteria may make a written application to the City of Warman for the early refund of his or her water deposit by completing the refund form (found here). Please note that there will be a $20 administration fee. The refund will be returned via cheque or credit on the account for the amount of the water deposit less the $20 administration fee.
Service Connection Inspection:
All new residential and commercial builds are required to have a service connection inspection prior to covering/grading. Please City Hall at (306) 933-2133.
