SaskWater’s Saskatoon Potable North Water Supply System will be receiving maintenance starting October 18 and a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) will be issued.
In an effort to avoid to extend SaskWater’s PDWA onto our community, the City of Warman will be topping up our reservoirs to maximum levels before closing our intake from the SaskWater line.
The City anticipates the intake will be shut off from Tuesday, October 18 until Friday, October 21.
As noted, residents are asked to conserve water during this period so that water levels don’t drop low enough to require the intake to be re-opened before SaskWater’s PDWA is lifted. If forced to open the intake and issue a PDWA, the City of Warman would need approximately 48-72 additional hours to receive negative tests on water samples.
The City of Warman will continue to provide updates on the matter.
Thank you!
