About the Council


Warman City Council consists of one mayor and six councillors who, as of October 24, 2012, were elected to serve a four-year term.

Nearly five decades of dedicated elected officials have helped make Warman the community it is today.

Meetings


  • Second and fourth Monday of each month (if Monday falls on Stat holiday, meeting is Tuesday)

Council meetings are open to the public and commence at 6:30 pm.

Student Council Representative 

Each year the City of Warman appoints a youth in the community to be the Student Council Representative. During the one-year term, the representative gets a first hand look at how important decisions are made in their community by Council. The representative also has an opportunity to share with Council what issues are important to the youth of the community.

The 2019-2020 Student Council Representative is Warman High School student Karanjit Singh.

Applications for the 2018-2019 term are now closed. 2019-2020 applications will be accepted in the spring of 2019.
