​Background and Purpose

In 2015 the City of Warman began the process of creating a long-range plan for a transportation network to support future growth in the community. The Transportation Master Plan (TMP), which was completed and adopted in 2016, marks the first comprehensive transportation policy for the community. The TMP describes, quantifies and assesses the city’s current and future transportation network and policy.

The scope of the Transportation Master Plan was to review the existing road network, identify network needs to support proposed growth within the city, identify supporting policies, and develop a recommended network plan and implementation strategy.
