City of Warman releases it's budget for 2017

At the forefront of the budget is the City’s residential tax increase, which will sit at a rate of 1.52% for 2017; a drop from the 2.69% increase last year. Further, keeping in line with their “Open for Business” mentality, the City will continue to offer one of the most preferential commercial property tax rates with an average increase of 1.77%. Other highlights of the budget include: over 10 million dollars earmarked for capital projects, over 2.5 million dollars allocated to reserve funds for future expenses and the implementation of an asset management reserve.
