Bylaw Purpose

The purpose of this bylaw is to regulate development in the City of Warman to provide for the amenity of the community and for the health, safety and general welfare of the inhabitants of the municipality.

Bylaw 2006-11

Bylaw 2006-11 controls land use in the City of Warman. It states:
  • How land may be used
  • Where buildings and other structures can be located
  • The types of buildings that are permitted, how they may be used
  • The lot sizes and dimensions, parking requirements, building heights and setbacks from the street.

Bylaw 2006-10

The Development Plan Bylaw 2006-10 sets out The City of Warman general policies for future land use and helps guide decisions related to zoning and implementation. The zoning bylaw is used to implement the development plan, and contains requirements that are legally enforceable. All new construction must comply with the zoning bylaw and National Building Code of Canada.

Additional Information

Both the zoning bylaw and development plan are currently being updated and will be adopted sometime in the fall.
